In December 2022, Big School was transformed into a theatre-in-the-round for Whitgift’s enthralling Senior Drama production of The Caucasian Chalk Circle.

The play follows the character, Grusha, a peasant girl who rescues a baby during a time of conflict and becomes a better mother than the child’s wealthy biological parents.

A double revolving stage was constructed in the middle of their stage to represent the ‘chalk circle.’
