The Revolving Stage Company again works with Sheffield Theatres as they present the regional première of Contractions, a dark and funny play about intrusion, management and ever-decreasing privacy, by Olivier Award-winning writer Mike Bartlett.

Lisa Blair’s production has a sleek, hi-tech feel, in which Fly Davis’s slowly revolving design reinforces the impression that the characters are going round in circles.

The Revolving Stage Company installed a black 3m diameter revolving stage with black surround including Perspex lighting ring.
