The Revolving Stage Company works with Dundee Rep again after installing a 6m diameter revolving stage for Tracy Letts’ modern American tragedy, ‘August: Osage County’ production.
The revolving house at the centre of the plot turns and turns to reveal the variously delusional, arrogant and self-obsessed Weston family clan confined to their country estate after alcoholic patriarch Beverly Weston mysteriously goes missing.
Using The Revolving Stage Company’s RevolveSolve software (easily installed on Microsoft Windows), the movement of the open plan house is capable of unlimited revolve positioning, real time delays and movement, multi revolve sequencing, and positional activation of external sources such as DMX control of lighting, sound and stage effects.
